Sharon Tate photographed by Walter Chappell at his home in Mill Valley, California in February, 1969. This photoshoot was put together by Sharon herself to celebrate and document her pregnancy. She owned a few prints of these photographs and they were featured in the auction Debra Tate held in November, 2018 with Julien’s Auction house. The photo prints sold in a lot for $15,360.
The caftan Sharon is wearing here has been said to be designed by Walter Chappell’s wife, Nancy Chappell. Debra Tate also confirmed this is the outfit their family picked to have Sharon buried in.
