Now that a new year is starting I’d like to make a small review about everything I have done (and everything I didn’t) during last year, since for personal reasons I wasn’t online too often and I didn’t share too much then. 

First let’s go for Vampire’s Bit.
I didn’t did too much for this during 2020, and most of the work was centered on moving to a newer version of the engine and some rework on the player’s movement. Getting to work on this project has been pretty difficult, since I feel pretty stuckandburnoutwith it, mostly because I’m not sure if it will be able to meet all the expectations I have for it. But don’t worry you still will get to see a lot of Elzie, but I’ll save that for another post!

My favorite 2020 work: Circus Polka.
A small animation I did mashing up Vtuber Omaru Polka andCircus Charlie, a game I used to play a lot during my childhood. I’m still surprised no one put these two together before, but I’m really happy with the huge and warm reception it got. There is a lot of details I’d like to share about the making of this piece, but I’ll turn that on its own post too. Meanwhile you can check the original tweet here.

Secret project #1
Sadly, this one seems to have fell through, so I can’t really share any info on it. It was going to be a very big project and I would do a lot of art and animations for lots of characters and enemies. 

Secret project #2
This one is a small colaboration with a super talented coder that’s doing a very ambitious homebrew fan-project all by himself. While I can’t share many details yet, I have been doing some background art for it for a while. Hope I get to show more about this one soon!


And for this year, there is a lot of things I want to work on. I specially want to focus on making my portfoliogrow so expect a lot of artin different kinds and styles to invade this blog, includying some super old things I found again recently and I’d like to share.
At some point I’d like to try my luck doing commisions, and I also have a couple of unfinished projects I have never talked about here, so maybe I will show a little bit of those too.
