Newcomer Katie George is Miss Kentucky USA 2015 and 2014 runner-up Caroline Ford is Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2015! The pageant was held on Sunday in KY’s usual near-secrecy, although I was lucky enough to receive photos of the Miss contestants in the programme book and we did get relatively updated results so I guess it wasn’t quite as bad as years past! From what I can tell there were 19 Miss contestants and 11 Teens, they announced a top 10 in Miss but cut straight to a top five in Teen.

Katie is a 21 volleyball player at the University of Louisville. She is the first newbie to win Miss KY USA since 2011. Caroline, third runner-up last year, is 18 and from Bowling Green. She was also a runner-up at Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen 2014.

First runner-up to Katie was Emily Bryant, who was fourth runner-up last year and second runner-up in 2013. Second runner-up, for the second year in a row, was Monica Robertson. Past Miss Kentucky (MAO) runner-up April Reinle was third runner-up and fourth runner-up went to Katie Himes who has also competed at Miss Kentucky.
