Daily Q #67

Fabulous selection of John de Lancie’s best moments in M:I.

I’ve just bumped into the 1988 pilot of Mission Impossible, titled: “The Killer”

And no wonder: he is the one, who plays that cold blooded but very sophisticated, stylish and brainy murderer.

Amazing work, and amazing appearence.

I think, I don’t even need to mention again, how sexy he is: you’ll find out.

I’m back!

And I’ve fallen into Mission Impossible. Boy, is Tom Cruise difficult to draw! The pretty boys always are. (Had the same problem with Jensen Ackles.) Not that Simon is easy. Trying to find my way around their face shapes.

Hopefully more to come :) Working on some short fic too. I’m new to this fandom, feel free to say hi!

After the mission is over, Ethan can finally relax.

Benji and Ethan are the best. I’ve been so busy and stressed out, but I really wanted to participate in the fandom. I’m relatively new, but happy to be here! :)

I hope you like it!

Interrupted.

I added to the Ethan scribble because I’m pretty sure wherever Ethan is, Benji’s not far behind. I’m not sure what they’re about to do, but they don’t want an audience. ;)

(I’m new to this fandom, what tags should I be using for this ship?)

I had ten minutes! Warm up sketch on the office cintiq. I’ve got Tom Cruise on the brain. MI: Fallout really reignited my middle school crush on him.

He’s still really hard to draw! Am I improving?

Relieved to have a 3 day weekend. Well, for me it’s a 2 day weekend since I work on Saturdays, but I am still very grateful. My full time job has been exceedingly frustrating lately. I actually left the office on Thursday from a full blown panic attack. I was so mortified, but very fortunate my boss didn’t stop me when I said, “I’m having a problem and I need to go home.”

I finished up my work for the Tolkien Reverse Big Bang this week, and I’m so excited to share it when I can. It’s Mirkwood Family art, of course ;)

I’m also really enjoying my time in the Mission Impossible fandom. People have been so supportive with the silly art things I’ve posted recently. Thank you! I’m about to spend a few hours today polishing up a short fic I’m writing for Ethan/Benji. It’s supremely self indulgent with all my favorite tropes: hurt/comfort, pretend relationships, newly discovered love.

I’m so happy to be writing again. I really missed it. :)

More practice drawing Ethan, aka Tom Cruise.

Damn, if Tom isn’t hard to draw though. I haven’t quite figured out how to caricature him yet, but I’m trying! Just gotta keep drawing.

Perhaps no other city has been as thoroughly hidden from modern filmmaking as Vancouver, my hometown. Today, it’s the third biggest film production city in North America, behind Los Angeles and New York. And yet for all the movies and TV shows that are shot there, we hardly ever see the city itself. So today, let’s focus less on the movies and more on the city in the background. Press the CC button to see movie names and locations.
