#mitch x jamie

LIVE

So Zoo has been canceled.

On the one hand I’m not surprised because the ratings were not strong this past season.

But I’m really disappointed. I was hoping for at least one more season. Not to mention more Mitch/Jamie.

I still love them. I’ll be a fan of these two for a long time.

To the small but awesome Zoo fandom…thank you for three summers of laughs, tears, wanting to throw things at our TV’s (and sometimes the writers), internet hugs and high fives… it’s been a slice.

Zoo Review - 3x13, “The Barrier”

AKA Jackson gets all self-righteous and continues to blame everyone else but himself for not stopping Abigail.

~ That’s a lot of hybrids :/

~ A Mitch/Jamie kiss! *squee* ❤️❤️I love how she wanted to stay with him, although I do get why people were not happy about how she didn’t really do much in this episode.

~ “Little Peanut” is cute and all, but just give the baby a proper name kthanks.

~ I am not a dog person but that little guy is cute.

~ is it just me or did I spot a little smile on Mitch’s lips when Jamie came back into the control room?

~ Sam? You’re thinking of naming the baby Sam? That’s great and all but seriously Clem, think about naming him after your late grandfather. Just sayin’.

~ Bloody hell. Jackson says ILY to Tessa after thirteen episodes, yet we have to practically beg the writers to have Mitch and Jamie say the same thing to each other. If the show is renewed I swear to God they better say ILY.

~ As for Logan…figures, just as I start to actually tolerate him he dies.

Then Abigail appears like SURPRISE BITCH. Someone kill her, please.

~ A hug! ❤️❤️

~ Holy fuck that zombie dog is creepy.

~ The ending had me feeling all sorts of feels. First of all, initially I was concerned over Jamie’s reaction to Logan’s death but @kateschechterxthorwasmyfirstotp calmed my nerves (thank you dear!). I was upset because to me it sounded like she was far more upset over his death than the baby being kidnapped. I get it though, she was in a relationship with him for a while and he was the only one who knew what she went through while in the Canadian wilderness. At least Mitch didn’t seem upset?

Also, why must everyone fight?! I don’t like it when the dream team fights and pulls guns on each other.

Jackson, bro don’t you dare get mad at my girl Jamie. You had several chances to “put her down” yet each time you let your crazy sister go. It’s like he’s totally forgotten he locked Jamie in that cage.

Of course Abigail has the baby :/ I was under the impression things would be resolved in case there isn’t a fourth season. Oops. Anyways, I loved how Mitch protected Clem and Jamie when the plane crashes through the barrier(even if it managed to do so without so much as a scratch)

Overall, a good finale. The season as a whole had its issues but I thought it was a good one. Like everyone else I really hope we get another season. There are still so many unanswered questions, not to mention our ship finally saying those three words. If CBS doesn’t pick up the show maybe Netflix will. A renewal would certainly make for a nice wedding present :)

AKA I MAY HAVE SCREAMED WITH HAPPINESS ALL LAST NIGHT.

~ Anyone else wished those hybrids would just attack Logan? NGL I was kind of hoping for that in that one scene where he goes after Abigail.

~ Yay for a shout-out of Toronto! Even if it is on a map of the possible apocalypse

~ The dream team has reunited and it feels so good.

~ Great lighthearted scene between Mitch and Abe. The bromance is back!

~ There has to be more to the murder than just that. I figure we’ll learn more next week, and based on the promo pics for 3x07 she doesn’t stay in custody that long.

Now for the main event…

HOLY MILE HIGH CLUB BATMAN.

Here I was excited for the kissing scene, and we get two! Not only that, but our favourite couple are now part of the club. Everything about those two scenes were perfect, except for maybe Jamie leaving but I’ll forgive the writers for that because they gave us two awesome kisses.

“Well there wasn’t a whole lot to look forward to.”

“How about now?”

Mitch being worried about dark!Jamie, his hand cupping her face, not giving up on each other even after ten years…DEAD. I’M DEAD. RIP STUFFERS.

And then the second scene. If the first one had me grinning like an idiot - NGL, I actually clapped and cheered - this one had me melting into a puddle of happy goo. Anyone catch how Mitch zipped up his fly right after they exited the room? And his comment about wanting to do it in the cockpit and when she said she had it converted into a breakfast nook he asked her to say it slower. Looks like our favourite doctor has a bit of a naughty side.

THAT KISS. #DEAD

While I think there might be a little tension in future episodes, for now I’ll just be over here squeeing my shipper heart out. The Zoo Twitter people even got into the whole Jamitch thing, posting a picture of them with the tweet “Jamitch for life”.

I may or may not be screaming with happiness.

TBH my review tomorrow won’t really be a review, probably just a bunch of happy .gifs

If someone .gifs and icons the hell out of certain scenes from this episode I will be forever grateful.

AKA “Jame’s Got a Taser”

~ So Jackson is using a fake identity. S**t will probably hit the fan when Tessa finds out

~ Vicious beast at Abe and Dariela’s window, so instead they turn around and study a creepy beating blob.

~ FFS Logan, just go away!

~ First a fake identity, now Black Widow Jamie is keeping a Shepard locked up and tasers the hell out of him. Some context as to how our favourite journalist got this way would be nice.

~ “For someone who knows a thing or two about lying to the person that you love”…yeah, if Logan really loved Jamie he sure had a hell of a way of showing it. Maybe that’s why they broke up. Thank goodness it appears that she (and Jackson) hates his guts. Someone please push him off of a plane again.

~ Forget taser, now Jamie has a tranquiler gun. Someone on Facebook mentioned that she has become quite dark, but that the world around her has also grown dark. That - and her determination to find Mitch - could explain why she’s acting the way she is.

~ Oh look, the girl pretending to be Clem and wriggle information out of Mitch isn’t really Clem. This is my surprised face.

~ SISTER?! Well things just got interesting.

~ I saw that twinkle in your eyes Clem. You’re a Mitch/Jame fan.

~ REUNITED!! Okay so it wasn’t the most epic of reunions and I would have liked a hug but given the circumstances I can understand why they didn’t.

She gave him his glasses. The glasses she’s had for ten years <3

“They kept you away from me for ten years” If you need me I’ll be over here melting into a puddle of happy goo.

~ On top of everything else that has happened, Issac is kidnapped and Clem is pregnant! Curious to find out about the latter. Maybe it has something to do with that gene she has?

Overall a good episode. I am a little worried about how Mitch will react to Jamie going over to the Dark Side, but we’ll see. The writers seem to be tackling a lot and I almost wonder if it’s too much.

Then there are the 3x04 promo pics. That episode needs to hurry up.

And we’re back for another crazy ride.

~ It would have been nice to get a backstory on Tessa instead of just having her thrown in as Jackson’s girlfriend, but hopefully in the coming weeks we’ll know a little more about her. Saying that, so far I like her.

~ The CGI was actually not that bad.

~ Even though it was a dream, the scene with Mitch and Jamie was adorbs. He’s been thinking about her all this time! My shipper heart is happy.

~ Oh hey, it’s Logan/Edward/whatever. So he and Jamie used to date. *barf* So glad we didn’t get to see that, and to top it off it sounds like she hates him.

~ Badass!Jame is back and I love it.

~ SHE KEPT HIS GLASSES!!

~ I can imagine it’s hard to act without having any lines, and Billy Burke did an amazing job. He really nailed the whole stuck-in-a-tank-for-ten-years thing.

~ I posted about this very briefly last night, but when Mitch was trying to write on that piece of paper then held it up to the guy…Jamie’s picture was on the back! I really hope they mention that in future episodes (probably not but it’s worth a shot).

Overall I thought this was a good start to the season. 3x04 needs to hurry up, because those promo pics have me melting into a puddle of goo. I foresee a lot of .gifs and icons coming out of that episode.

My review for the season premiere of Zoo will be up tomorrow but this has been bugging me all day.

That piece of paper Mitch tried to write on before he held it up the guy…Jamie’s picture was on it. Anyone else catch that?

~ I never thought I’d say this, but I actually like Logan more than Jackson. Oz is intolerable right now. Gets mad at Jamie for wanting to kill his sister, now that’s all he wants to do.

~ At first I was annoyed at the writers for making Jamie not want to hold the baby, because that would just add more fuel to the fire for those who hate her, but I liked her reasoning.

~ Wonder if they’re going to name the baby Max. That would be a nice tribute to the elder Morgan.

~ Loved the vehicle bay scene! I have said this multiple times since Thursday night, but I really believe “everyone I love” was Mitch’s way of telling Jamie he loves her. He almost whispers “yeah”, pauses, then continues. That right there tells me he was referring to her. I think she knew it too. Now if only they could actually say those three words.

~ It’s starting to feel like everyone is somehow related on this show. So Sam is Jackson’s long-lost son, apparently. I wonder if Abigail is lying so he’d go after him and not her. Regardless, why didn’t Jackson just shoot her?! I get she has to live for the finale, but ugh. Bro you’ve had how many chances now to kill your crazy sister. Someone else will end up doing it for you.

Overall, much better than last week. I am hearing different things about the possibility of a renewal. This show may be crazy and all that but damn it’s entertaining. I seriously hope CBS renews it for another year. I need my Zoo fix in the summer.

~ So now everyone hates Jamie, including Mitch (or at least until the end of the episode). Dariela betrays the team and gives away Clem’s location, no one bats an eye. Jamie keeps Duncan around a little longer to get rid of a terrorist, everyone loses their minds. Then to top it all off, Jackson goes and tells Tessa to stop Abigail. WTF? So it’s okay for Jackson to say it, but when Jamie tries to actually do it she’s the bad guy? Give me a break.

~ The “pillow talk” scene was nice.

~ I hated the scene between Mitch and Jamie. I hated how he yelled at her, I hated how devastated she looked, I hated everything about it. Brilliant acting of Billy and Kristen though.

~ What, did they just forget Jamie was in the cage? For a while there she didn’t appear in any scenes.

~ The scene towards the end with her and Max was nice as well. I liked what he said to her about how she’s good for Mitch and to take care of him. Admit it Max, you’re a Jamitch shipper.

~ Speaking of Max…even though I knew he was leaving since Robin’s name isn’t in next weeks’ press release, it was still really sad to see him go. At least he got to see his great-grandson (although I don’t know why they’d let him hold a newborn when he was infected by the spores, but whatever). But why the hell did Jamie have to miss the birth?! It felt like a punishment.

~ As for the end scene, all is (mostly) forgiven. I believe Mitch apologized for both what he said earlier and the fact that she missed the baby’s arrival. The forehead touch was a nice add.

Overall, not my favourite episode. I don’t like seeing my ship like that. I get it’s drama but honestly, it was like the pot calling the kettle black. Before they were so intent on stopping Abigail, and when Jamie actually tries to do that she gets screamed at and thrown into a cage. Yes she has made some bad choices in this season, but when Jackson wanted to save Abigail it was like everyone suddenly agreed with him and how dare Jamie stop a terrorist.

Hopefully next episode our ship is back to their normal selves.

So this Zoo episode. One scene, I want to throw something at my tv. Another scene I’m about to cry. Then the last scene made me forgive the writers.

TITLE: Blindness Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

AUTHOR:stuffers34

GENRE: romance and drama

RATING:K

SUMMARY:Mitch was staring straight ahead, but only a black veil registered in his mind. Not even a sliver of colour pierced through. He was totally blind.

A/N: What a crazy season of Zoo, especially the latest episode. Mitch being blind for a portion of it got me thinking, and the result was this oneshot. All mistakes are mine and reviews are greatly appreciated. Enjoy!

If one opened a dictionary and searched for the definition of “panic”, they normally wouldn’t find a picture of Mitch Morgan there.

Sure he had his moments. Like when the team struggled to locate Jamie in the Canadian wilderness and he felt as if he wanted to tear the very Earth in half to find her, or in the weeks following the plane crash and she consumed his every thought. There was also that time when he and Jamie were almost mauled to death by two leopards.

For the most part though he was relatively calm. In his line of work, being calm was almost mandatory.

But had one looked today, his image would have been right in the middle of the page.

Mitch wasn’t entirely sure that his father helping him was a good idea, but he didn’t really have any other choice. Keep it in, it kills him. Take it out, he survives but loses all his memories. So there he was, sitting in a chair while Max tried to locate the bio drive lodged in his skull with a tool that emitted an electromagnetic pulse. It actually wasn’t a bad idea and one that might work.

The first jolt was okay. His body slightly jumped from his seat, he felt as if he had received a very minor electrical shock, and he mentally questioned why he had even agreed to this, but it was okay.

The second charge made his eyes shut tightly and face contort into a painful grimace. He steadied himself and opened his eyes to prepare for the final jolt. Then his brain hit the panic button.

He blinked several times. Nothing changed. When he interrupted his father, Max seemed to almost brush it off. “Well like I said, some minor side effects.”

“You could have mention blindness!” Mitch was staring straight ahead, but only a black veil registered in his mind. Not even a sliver of colour pierced through. He was totally blind.

His ears picked up Max saying it will go away with the third pulse. Then the plane started to shake and he felt nothing on his head, unaware that the plane’s electricity was now out. “Pulse three! Where’s pulse three?!”

Max fidgeted with the rod. “Minor speed bump.”

Mitch’s head suddenly started throbbing, and he placed his fingers on his temple. It was then panic gripped his heart like an icy claw. “Something doesn’t feel right.”

They had activated the bio drive.

AKA Abigail forgot to eat a Snickers bar :/

~ Once again the Morgan men were entertaining me with their bickering. I am thrilled that Max is back and he hasn’t lost his touch, like last episode when he told Jamie he presumed she was back in a relationship with his son XD. The whole “you stabbed your girlfriend” and Mitch brushing Jamie’s hair away from her face was love. Also Issac being all WTF? when he saw them carrying her.

~ Imagine being forced to do horrible things and know there’s nothing you can do about it :(

~ I know the CGI hasn’t been the best on this show but that tiger looked pretty good. Maybe the writers wanted those PETA whackjobs off their backs and have decided to just use CGI animals.

~ Logan may be back but I’m glad he’s not actually with the team (at least not yet because who knows with this show).

~ I’ve seen a couple other comments about this and I’ll chime in as well: I would have liked to seen Mitch be blind for most of the episode instead of that one small part, just to see how it would have affected him. But that’s what fanfiction is for ;) “You could have mentioned blindness!” XD

~ LOL at the scene where Mitch gets his sight back. Morgan men, never lose your bickering kthanks.

~ “DJ Logan” XD

~ Oh hai surprise Mitch/Jamie kiss! That was a really sweet moment.

~ So Abigail is controlling that plane and Mitch. I had a feeling she was behind the whole bio drive thing. Wonder why she went after Mitch? I remember something about Oz saying he thought Mitch was a better scientist than her? Hopefully we’ll get answers in the upcoming weeks.

~ Jamie kicking her man in the face was oddly entertaining. I think they’ll be able to safely remove the bio drive but at what cost? Hopefully the writers will finally be nice to us and give them some happiness for longer than one episode.

Overall, a very good episode that was fun to watch.

If someone makes a .gif or .gifs of a particular scene from tonight’s episode I will be forever grateful.

AKA Mitch = Winter Soldier

~ Don’t mess with Papa (and Grandpapa) Mitch. Also, angry!Mitch is angry. I can understand why he was pissed at Dariela, but I also liked how Clem stood up for her.

~ Logan was actually tolerable in this episode.

~ I had a feeling Abigail killed Leanne. Add “murderer” to her ever-growing list of bad things she’s done.

~ The flashbacks were cool. IMHO Ken Olin is a great actor so I was glad that he was back, if only to show Abigail’s past.

~ Speaking of which…so she’s mad because Robert favoured Jackson over her? A little cliche but maybe the writers will make it interesting.

~ Wait…so Mitch is Mr. Duncan? I know he’s being brainwashed but hopefully Jamie will understand when/if she finds out.

~ The scene where Mitch saw Ab what’s-his-name and fainted…did anyone see one of the flashbacks he had? I’m assuming it’s from that cabin scene. I’m just casually going to leave this here.

Just a handful of thoughts today.

~ Mitch and Logan bickering was awesome, even if I can’t stand Logan. Hey TPTB? More scenes like that please kthanks.

~ So Jamie was diagnosed with PTSD. I feel ya girl. That could explain her actions from last season. Also, cute scene with her and Mitch.

~ Jackson and Tessa’s heartbreaking stories. Curse you onion ninjas.

~ I knew Jamie didn’t kill Leanne! Something was up at the end of last episode, plus in two weeks she’s in Cali with Mitch. Okay so she did manipulate them both but I think she didn’t have a choice. And yay for her not killing anyone. I think Abigail killed Leanne. She saw her on the news and IIRC didn’t like her. Mitch didn’t sound very happy though. I wonder if that will carry over to future episodes? I’m not overly worried. They’ve been through worse.

Overall a good episode. The ratings don’t look very promising though but hopefully we can get another season out of this crazy show.
