Miraculous Ladybug Calendar 2019
Ah so here we are! For the third year in a row MLCalendarProject has produced a NEW fantastic calendar for you guys to enjoy! Every month features another artist with a unique style who has created a themed piece to match the time of year, each complete with a custom grid and design layout! Get your amazing spring, summer, fall, winter vibes featuring you favorite characters as they too navigate the year.
As were the rules last year, and the year before, the calendar is absolutely free to download and you are welcome to print out the pages or have your own calendar made for you to enjoy!! Butunder no circumstances is the art provided in this project allowed to be reposted, redistributed or used in any way without the artists permission. We did this for free and for fun to have something to share with the fandom, so please respect our artists accordingly! You will find all their usernames and credits inside the calendar, so if you love a piece please give them a follow! In order of appearance our epic team this year:

Okay! I’m excited to say that I have compiled a list of the 15 artists that will be in this years calendar. Before i list them please PLEASE know that I really struggled picking and that a lot of thought went into it. I wanted some returning faces but not too many, and gave more than half the slots to people who have never contributed. As a result there were many fantastic artists from previous years who aren’t in it this time but thank you SO much for being game to help. Once again I am forgoing my own slot this year just to squeeze in another artist, because picking was just that hard lol.

This is what we’ve got! Please, for all participating artists, if you are interested in volunteering for the Cover, ‘Previous Year’ Page, or Credit Page please message me! I need volunteers for these pieces, and then the months will be lottery. You will have a chance to list your favorite seasons in descending order so that I can try and get people in the right parts of the year. The benefit to the three volunteer slots is that the prompts and images for them can be much more loose in terms of prompt and weather!
The rules are the same as the last two years. Your piece must reflect the month (or position) you are assigned, with accurate fashion and weather (in regards to Paris at that time of year). It must have at least two characters in it interacting in some way (the general rule is that it must be some combination of the main four [Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino] or that at least one of them. This is pretty open, your concept and idea can be pretty much always be approved if you just pitch it to me and it seems to fit with the month. This rule is just in place to avoid like a picnic with Theo, beloved though he may be lol, so dont be afraid to argue your case if you think it fits the month and you wanna use your favs somewhere. WE just insist that the mains be present to appeal to as wide an audience as possible.)
An addition guideline is to focus on the time of year and the feelings and events of the seasons, its not really about ships its about friends and the passing of another year! (Except February, which we always give a pass too lol)
The format is Landscape, 3300 x 2550 px (11 in x 8.5 in) ((standard computer paper size for home printing if desired) at 300 dpi. All pieces must be fully colored with backgrounds! Please refer to previous calendars for references ^u^

Hey bros! It’s getting towards Calendar time again, and I want to give our artists a bit more room to work, as well as myself a bit more time to organize. When October arrives I’m going to start looking for artists! We are going to need 15 interested artists! One for the cover, one for the credit page, one for the ‘previous 12 months’ type page (optional), and twelve for the months! We do months on a lottery system and start screening based on who pipes up and says they’re down. SO if you’re game, reply on this post or send a ask to this blog (@mlcalendarproject) and I’ll put you in a list to pull from when the time comes.
