Not somebody who’s already been playing it forever. I need somebody to play it with who’s about as noobish as me. I’m trying to get into it for a friend, and because of all the new Nier content. But going through the slog at the beginning on my own is kind of frustrating and boring.
I don’t want to just buy some boost to get to max level instantly or anything like that. And I don’t want a friend who’s already maxed out on most of their classes who has to slow down for me to a point that frustrates them.
But it’s very obvious that FF14 is not a game that you’re supposed to play on your own. Going it solo is super boring, and slow, and frustrating… Honestly, I’m not expecting anybody to offer to join me. The game has already been around for a while, so most people who are gonna play it are already playing it. But, if anybody needs a new friend to play the game with, who’s not already some kind of god at it, hit me up.

what farming items in mmorpgs has taught me: i used to think using ice trays to make ice cubes was free but after thinking about it i have to pay the electric bill to power the freezer so every moment that i’m not freezing new trays of ice cubes is a moment that i’m underutilizing the freezer and increasing the cost of ice cubes. i have to constantly swap out ice trays for new ice cubes on an hourly rotation on a 24 hour basis or else i won’t produce the maximum amount of ice cubes possible and will underutilize the full potential of my electric bill. i need to stop using all other appliances and utilities in my home to make more ice cubes
