hey pals
we’ve been talking, and we’ve decided to shut down the minecraft servers. it was a good run, but the minecraft renaissance has mostly ended, and activity on the servers is very low. we don’t feel it’s fair to our patrons to have them keep donating every month when most of them haven’t been on in forever.
the discord won’t be deleted. we’re hoping to continue as a more general lgbt gaming chat. you can pop in whenever you’d like to chat with us. we’ll have to do some reorganizing, but i think we can still remain as a community.
we’re really happy with the times we had on the servers, and we don’t have any regrets. things just come to an end. if you’re interested in saving any of your builds, worldedit works on both servers, and you can save them through that.
currently, we’re looking at closing the servers on december 20th. thank you guys so much for supporting our server for so long. and of course, don’t worry, because the discord will still be around.

hello! in addition to yancake, our 1.12.2 modded server, today is the grand opening of our 1.14.4 vanilla+ survival server, vanillacake!
vanillacake has a bunch of fun and useful plugins, lots of CIT packs, friendly staff, and a great community of players!

we’re excited to announce that yancake will be opening a 1.14.3* vanilla+ serverthismonday, july 29th! the server is separate from our 1.12.2 modded server, so you can play on whichever server you like!
here’s a preview of our spawn - it has a magic-y, hidden away sort of feel. the real view is facing the other way, but you’ll have to wait to see it

today was our pride festival on yancake! for the main event, we had fireworks and The Burning of Notch. :- )

Hey! Just a reminder that you can remain single for the rest of your life and be happy! Relationships do not define who you are. Your relationship status does not define who you are.
I don’t even mean this for aspecs. Amatonormativity has taught us ALL that a relationship defines our happiness. A lot of arospecs, acespecs, and allos have put themselves into relationships that they did not want, simply because they were told that it would make them happy. You decide what makes you happy. If it’s not a relationship, that’s fine!
If you have family members nagging you to be in a relationship or friends constantly bugging you about being single or you feel pressured by society to be in a relationship, remind yourselfthata relationship does not define you. Plenty of people are in badromantic/sexualrelationships, and maybe you don’t want to take that risk. Or maybe you’re prioritizing your education or your career and don’t want to bother with a relationship. Or maybe you’re arospec or acespec and sex/romance-repulsed and don’t want a relationship. Or you’re arospec/acespec and cannot physically find the Attraction™ to have arelationship.
Fuck amatonormativity. Do what makes you happy. A relationship does not define you.
