You can be a woman and still say hurtful or downright misogynistic things like those who say shit like “being groped isn’t ACTUALLY sexual assault!” (Not equating what you said to that level of douchebaggery, just making a point.)
Am I mad about IS’ boner for Camilla? Yes. But can you honestly tell me people would be THIS pissed off if Hector got his 6th alt? Or Chrom? Or Takumi? Xander? Etc. People were mysteriously silent (other than the general groaning about WAH FATESWAKENING AGAIN) when Chrom became the first guy to get HIS fourth alt. Or, hell, when Takumi got HIS fourth alt at the same time Camilla did! People even came out of the wood works decrying Tharja’s THIRD alt, and later with Cordelia’s, at the same time Chrom already had 4!
I know it was a joke. My point was that it’s tasteless, not funny, and the insults people are eager to throw at “whoreish, big tittied bimbos” never seems to apply to the guys in an equal way. You may not have created this discourse but your voice doesn’t exist in a vacuum.
And tbh I’ve never seen anything from your blog before now, so if you think I’m just jumping to the Camilla defense squad but was fine with your other so-called jokes, don’t flatter yourself. I do think alt hogging is a problem, and I’m mad at IS for this, but the fandom always has to be fucking gross about expressing that, and I’m sick to fuck about it.
Also, like. When ppl say “you cant slutshame fictional female characters” that means “pointing out that her attire is hypersexualized and inappropriate is not slutshaming because she isnt a real human with actual agency” not “SWEET! FREE LICENCE TO APPLY WILDLY MISOGYNISTIC TERMINOLOGY!!!”

I apologize for the Cinder Fall post. When I posted it I didn’t realize that today marks 4 years since Monty Oum, the creator of RWBY, passed away, and that the joke could be seen as being in incredibly poor taste.
