#moon knight
“Isn’t she judging an innocent person? I mean, a thought can’t be evil, can it?”
This is why Steven Grant is going to be Mr. Knight. Even with Arthur Harrow trying to indoctrinate him, Steven is still able to see through him and poke holes in his ideology. He may be timid, but he’s intelligent.

steven: i can do this
new male standard unlocked: quirky museum gift shop man with a love for Egyptology who might have a little bit of an identity problem
couldnt-think-of-a-funny-name:
also I AM obsessed with Marc coming back from that long exhausting mission and being like “oh God oh fuck I killed his fucking fish he doesn’t have any other friends” and rushing to the pet store before passing out
Steven Grant saying “Goat” when he saw a goat is giving best boy energy.
1 of the funniest things about moon knight so far is that steven grant was out there trying to blame all his problems on eating a steak
Nobody asked for this but I can exactly pinpoint the moment my celebrity crush on Oscar Isaac started
*hum hum*the year was 2014! December, the last Wednesday before Christmas break. In philosophy class. There was an unofficial rule that the week before any breaks, the teachers would show movies. Usually this had something to do with the subject they taught or with what we were studying at the time. Sometimes not (I watched Zombieland one year after all…)
The philosophy teacher was this really weird lady. Always wearing the same outfit every single day. It’s like she lived in her own little dimension. And she was not the kind of teacher to show movies. But this day surprise! She had a movie for us!
The movie was ‘Agora’. “It’s about a woman philosopher!” she said. We were an only girls class, we were always down for a good old dose of girlbossery. And anything was better than philosophy class anyway
If you don’t know the movie Agora, it is indeed about Hypatia, a woman philosopher from the 4th-5th century, and she is played by the absolute MILF Rachel Weisz.
But we’re not here to drool on Rachel Weisz, we’re here to drool on Oscar Isaac.
One of Hyptia’s students was this cocky young man, Orestes, who would grow out of this cockiness and become a Roman prefect. This boy had the most perfect curly hair and wore the little Roman skirt like no one. You know where I’m going… it was our beloved pretty boy Oscar!
Anyway i can tell you that 17yo me paid extra extra attention to this movie…
moon knight fulfills my childhood obsession with ancient egypt and my adult obsession with oscar isaac
bebx:
do you think the Avengers just watch the sky go crazy and think “lmao not my problem I guess? whatever shit this is, y’all good luck though”
In defense of the avengers, it was probably daytime in the US, they didn’t notice
i don’t know anything about acting but Oscar Isaac transitioning between Marc and Steven in a matter of seconds it’s breath-taking
The difference is visible
These are visibly two different men
The awards thingies people need to stop snubbing the MCU because this is top tier acting right here
Layla is so soft for Steven… girl same
This episode of Moon Knight marks the 1st appearance of Anton Mogart, played by French actor Gaspard Ulliel
Gaspard Ulliel was an incredibly talented actor. He tragically passed away earlier this year
I don’t know if we will see more of him in the following episodes but let’s just take a moment to appreciate his work in one of his last projects
I hope Layla won’t divorce Marc, she’s in a win-win situation here! Imagine one moment your husband is this absolutely gorgeous man oozing sex appeal, the second he’s the most adorable little dorky English man reciting French poetry and being overly enthusiastic about Egyptology? Damn girl you really have a man that can do both
I know that Marc really felt proud seeing his pure dorkly innocent boi Steven make that powerful punch. He didn’t say it came from Khonshu’s power. NOPE Steven did that Marc says, and YOU’RE RIGHT STEVEN deserved that praise before passing the baton! Can we have a Marc training Steven session SOON?! PET HIS HAIR MARC!
This moment was giving big brother energy like “you did really well I’m very proud, but now I going to need you to step aside so you don’t get hurt and I’ll take it from there, alright buddy?”
Then he proceeded to yell at him 10 minutes later
Big brother energy I said
