Well, here we are, Lunar Loves.

It’s now August, and I’ve finally managed to comit to my first fully rendered finished piece. I feel … mildly acomplished. A little sad that it’s taken so long, but glad to say that I at least finished one WIP in 2020, and can attempt to finish the long list of others, including the Justice poster and the BTS pin for the #blacklivesmatter campaign, Mami (good lord, Mami has been on the backburner for so long), and my Utena illustration.

The intent is still to turn this into a sticker with holographic elements, and I do have some other fun things planned for it as well. It was a little strange working on something so. Colorful, lol. And also intentionally deciding to leave some things flat/minimally rendered. My husband immediately said “well, this is a little out of your normal color scheme” when he first saw it.

So! Now that this beauty is finished, I’m gonna keep pushing forward. I have a grand total of TWO orders to finish up, one which the Utena edits were for, one that I have to press some shirts for, and then I’ll be opening the shop back up with some MAJOR changes, keeping in mind that I’m gonna be giving birth in 7 weeks. Lol. So some things WILL be missing from the usual lineup when the shop updates, simply because I can’t commit right now (and the belly is getting in the way) to the labor of the apparel and some of the more intensive pieces of merchandise. Once I regain not only the (currently) 10" of personal space, but also get the balance of a newborn, a toddler, and family life under control, I’ll open everything back up as it was, pre-hiatus.

So. Thank you all. For being so patient, for continuing to be there. For being with me while I handled my own crisis. I know I keep saying it’s appreciated like a broken record, but it’s true.
