The whole “shoot a (insert predator species here), save a (insert prey species here)!” shirts/signs are so dumb. Like, sure go ahead and kill the animal excessively to the point where there are barely any individual animals left and watch your ecosystem fall apart, have fun.
And I can pretty much guarantee you the type of people who spout that ideology don’t actually care about saving (insert cute prey species), they just don’t want to have to compete with native predators for the right to kill them.
…does it make me a bad person that my first and immediate thought was “Shoot an oil executive, save a wolf”?
