Hey all, I’m somewhat back from my hiatus! Sorry to vanish so suddenly without word but my mental health took a very bad turn again and I needed to take a break from everything. I’m still not 100% but I am getting better I hope.
I’m going to try and draw more frequently - especially with the FNaF2 anniversary coming up!

Scott technically didn’t show the new animatronics in the trailer so I can’t draw them yet. Boo.
Instead I drew the new Foxy and Mangle from FNAF AR. May not be 100% accurate but I enjoyed it regardless!

Like for when I draw the animatronics, I always start with an ‘anchor’ point - this time, it’s the entire face! I’ll typically start with the eyes so I can judge where the nose and mouth need positioning. From there, I draw up the jawline on a new layer and line it up with the face. This makes it easier to move forward and draw the hair! (With hair, I start with their curls in the centre of the hairstyle and work my way outwards).
For the bodies, I’ll use their chests as the anchors from the neck downwards. They normally start out as square sketches and I draw around those to get the position I want. The skirt then follows up on a new layer, and then I play around with arms and legs! (These take me the longest, but mostly because I’m fussy about how they are positioned!)

It was an emotional support flower that backfired.

Happy 6th anniversary FNaF!!
I drew up a nice little reference to the celebrate poster, as well as a call back to an old piece of mine that desperately needs replacing on Redbubble ASAP.
I wish I could’ve done this more justice but I got fed up with shading issues in the end. Sorry!

Honestly, I can’t offer many because I haven’t drawn Dreadbear too much! For the head I would call back to this post because it still applies to how I manage to draw the face and the shape of the head.
For the body, I avoided giving him the rounded shoulders like on other animatronics because his actual model is more hulking and large and doesn’t have proper shoulder joints the same way the smaller animatronics do.
I hope including the sketch helps in any way! I’ll be drawing more Dreadbear soon.
