the muppet christmas carol is the best movie ever made. the songs? bops. the dialogue? funny as hell while still being incredibly sweet and tender and retaining loads of quotes from the original dickens. the fact that there’s an actually narrator? fantastic. the emphasis on the original anti-capitalist message which many adaptations try to downplay? absolutely lovely. the acting of the human actors? amazing. kermit the frog as bob cratchit and gonzo as charles dickens? FUCKING INSPIRED
After all, it’s only one more sleep ‘til Christmas Day….
