The review of the Odd-O-Box: This is a really great and imaginative smoking device. The size is perfect for your pocket and everything closes up perfectly so you have everything that you need to smoke, but do not forget your lighter! I have used this multiple times on hikes and this pipe has proven to be sturdy and discrete.
Alright let me explain what this little block of wood does. This is not only a pipe but it also a a nifty way to store your dry herbs. The main container has a corkscrew action that moves your herb right into the bowl. So if you have trouble loading a bowl without getting crumbs everywhere this pipe is a great solution to that. On the other side of the box you have a very nifty pipe that works well accompanied with a metal screen.The top wood piece slides back and forth so you can access your dry herb and smoke it in seconds.
Pro’s of the Odd-O-Box: This little box looks rather nice. The wood is soft and I have no worries of splinters. The box fits very well in my hand and pockets. A great feature included is the holes on the side that you can connect the Odd-O-Box to a lanyard and be able to carry it around your neck with ease. I am excited to attend music festivals/concerts with the Odd-O-Box hooked up to a lanyard. After I ground my dry herbs I placed it in the Odd-O-Box and when sealed I am not able to smell the my herbs pungent smell. By sliding the top piece of wood it can quickly put out a bowl that is cherried, and cover up the smell that you were smoking. When you take a hit from the pipe it has a little woodsy taste which when sharing it with all my friends we all thoroughly enjoyed the taste of each hit. I have had the Odd-O-Box for a few weeks and its all I’ve been talking about with my stoner friends.
Con’s of the Odd-O-Box: When I first received the Odd-O-Box I had some trouble moving the top wooden piece and it did not budge easily. (UPDATE: After a week of light usage the top piece now slides easier, but still continues to stay closed in my purse/pockets when it is not in use.) The Odd-O-Box did take me a few tries for it to load the bowl the way I wanted. I would suggest to sit down and play with it at home to get familiar with it before taking it on a grand adventure.
TLDR:The Odd-O-Box is a fun and innovative way to smoke. It is different from other smoking devices and truly is a easy portable pipe that you are able to have new bowls loaded very quickly without the mess. The part that holds your dry herb does just that and makes your smoking session last much longer than just a few hits. When you first get it there are some things that you must get used to, but once you understand how it works it functions flawlessly. If you enjoy smoking while in nature or at music festivals or you just do not ever want to deal with loading a bowl again the Odd-O-Box is the perfect smoking device for you.
