“I love you.”

I can’t even begin to express how important this scene is. This show is telling an entire generation of young boys that it’s okay to say ‘I love you’ to another boy. I literally broke down sobbing when I watched it… then watched it over and over, thinking about how I wish I had something like this to watch when I was growing up. It could have made me realize who I was so much sooner in life. Shiro and Keith’s relationship to each other is important. Whether you are here to ship sheith, or not, this scene was revolutionary and groundbreaking for children’s media everywhere. I am so thankful to the cast and crew of Voltron for bringing this moment to life. Steven Yeun’s voice acting in this scene was soul-shaking to the point I know that these screencaps can’t do his passion and emotion justice, but I am just so happy and overwhelmed and happy right now. This scene left me changed, and I will carry it with me forever.
