Some headcanons for my favorite Goyl treasure hunter. You guys should know I’m always gonna start with the Goyl before the humans, fairies, dwarves or shape shifters! Also, I just really love Nerron and want to take him home and show this poor soul some love.

• Touch starved beyond belief. He acts like he doesn’t want or need friends or anyone in his life, but he is a liar.
• Like in all seriousness, if you could get past his façade, he’d be the best friend/boyfriend. He’d be super affectionate. Brings you gifts from everywhere he’s been. You could discuss how stupid people are with him. He’d help you come up with comical scenarios of how to get rid of them to make you laugh.
• He has helped people escape the Onyx Goyls’ prisons. Not so much because he feels bad for the people but because he really, really just hates the Onyx.
• He’s also made some very reliable contacts this way when it comes to treasure hunting. They may not like the Bastard, but they remember what he did for them, and they’re grateful.
• He bought his mother a mansion underground, filled it with everything her heart could ever desire, and sends her money frequently so she can get or do whatever she needs or wants.
• He really likes animals. He had a pet lizard as a child, and it was his best friend for many years. When it died, he refused to take on another pet because he couldn’t handle losing another thing he loved.
• That’s also one of the reasons he decided that “love was a luxury you paid for with far too much pain.”
• So, if you decide you want to be friends with Nerron, you have to be persistent and have the patience of a saint. He’s the only Goyl we’ve met so far who will hesitate to kill you, but don’t push him too much.
