the thing about Dean is he’s sentimental and he wears jewelry and he’s a hopeless romantic and he’s burning from the inside out because he’s terrified of abandonment and he likes singing his favourite songs and feeling the world go by and he never wants to set foot in his childhood home again and he was scared his brother would tell him to fuck off that he spends hours preparing just to fight him and break in and he wears his dad’s jacket and he wants to become a concept a hero but actually all he wants is to feel secure and stable and he’s good with kids and tries every day to be brave for his dead mother and has really pretty green eyes

There really isn’t anyone who could’ve played him, but more importantly, loved Dean better than Jensen does, and I’m so grateful for that everyday. There’s no other version of events that could’ve led to us meeting the complex and genuine, and loving and intelligent and brave, and there-for-all-of-us Dean, other than with Jensen being him and that means everything to me ❣
