I’m working on the Professional Development Day chapter for Safe Hands, and I’m not sure I have quite enough jokes of the “Pirate Ship Version of Standard Prof. Dev. Stuff” variety.  So far, I have:

1. Breakout sessions
2. Handouts
3. A whiteboard (an actual board, as in a plank of wood)
4. A Powerpoint joke that I feel is both subtle and hilarious
5. Catered coffee break and box lunch
6. Spa station 
7. Corporate speak ( I could use more buzzwords, if anyone has ideas for those)

Are there other things I’m missing?  

While I was writing this post, I thought of evaluations/surveys like they make you fill out at the end of each session–not sure exactly what I can do with that that isn’t another “none of them can read” joke.
