My ladies are mostly in spoiled retirement (3-6yrs or so, pretty long lived for free rangers, I chalk it up to the excellent work of the resident chicken dog and two very good roosters) and only lay eggs as a diverting occasional hobby
Not crazy about tractor supply chickens, but friend wanted some sapphire gems and asked if I wanted some too
