Warning, graphic description ahead:

“As she stared at him, the man grunted and shifted, his arm falling from his head, revealing a face more beaten than even his body. He opened one eye and met her gaze, for the other was swollen shut, with black and red marks stretching from the eyebrow down to his jaw on the entire left side of his face. His nose was mangled, clearly broken in several places, and as he turned, she saw that his ear was cut clean off, only a bloody hole left.” A particularly gruesome excerpt from the latest Chapter of my novel.

This is Ellion, my newest character. He’s a bit tortured (literally), and I just had to draw him, as injuries are something I am not used to drawing, and while there are major flaws, I actually like him a lot! The face structure is proving very helpful, and I can’t wait to draw more of my men.
