It’s been a long wait, Natsume Yuujinchou. There’s a feeling of longing for you, and yet bittersweet at the same time. But I really can’t wait to see you again.
There were some hobbies that I dropped abruptly 3 years ago. One of them was anime. In between, I missed them, but didn’t feel like picking them up again. Nyanko-sensei was the one who rekindled my interest when I ventured to Ikebukuro Animate in Japan last month, and sparked a little desire to watch the anime again. Tonight, I watched a Natsume Yuujinchou OVA that was released last year, and boy, did it stir my emotions as always. Of all the animes that I’ve watched, no other can touch me as emotionally with the nice warm fuzzy feeling that Natsume Yuujinchou does. I may not have found Takeshi (Kaneshiro) in Tokyo this time, but I certainly found back my lost love for Takashi (Natsume) and Nyanko-Sensei. Kamiya Hiroshi and Inoue Kazuhiko rocks.
