This video was posted on YouTube by emc4u2. He is obviously an older man like myself. Younger men and women are probably not as inclined to try this because they haven’t gotten to the point where they need it! 

This setup is plenty good enough, but if you want to make it quicker and more efficiently you can use a magnetic stirrer with a hot plate. That’s what I use! 

Once it’s done you’ll need to filter the solution to get all of the large particles out. It is recommended you use unbleached coffee filters for that process.
