The night is dark, noxious; though, it’s nowhere near dull. Brightly colored city lights, many people sauntering all around; eager to arrive wherever are heavily present. Myeongdong is usually hectic and dynamic whether it’s 3 pm under the sunlight, or 3 am past midnight.

You’ve always preferred nighttime over daytime. You’ve cried more under the moonlight than sunlight. You’ve laughed more, loved more.

And Lee Donghyuck is no different as he’s present near you, body pressed onto the windows as his head slightly hangs outside. A single cigarette is in between his fingers, occasionally making its way towards his parted lips.

“Let’s date.” Is what slips in between his lips after putting down the cigarette which previously sat between his lips, taking you by surprise.

“What?” You reply, a slight chuckle following along as your head tilts towards his direction.

“I mean, let’s pretend to date. Didn’t Jeno just dump you?” He asks, not exactly expecting a proper response.

“Couldn’t you find a better word?” You reply, referring to the word “dump”.

“Even if i accept, what will you gain?” You continue.

“Let’s just say you intrigue me.”

You laugh once again.
