So I just gobbled up all s1 of Our Flag Means Death.
On one hand, I want there to be a second season. I’m just not sure if I’m ready for the drama, like, I liked the romance, but the drama being set up for season 2… maybe I’m wrong and I’ll like it. I hope, lol.
In any case, I’m glad it’s going to continue, both because I love pirate culture and because of the representation it offered. And like, as someone who loves pirate culture but could never get into Pirates of the Caribbean… I’m so happy we’re moving into an era where that franchise is not the only mainstream thing we have about pirates.
I had a dream where I visited Ireland (and was so excited!!) and something that amazed me there was that (in the dream) they had these kiosks that we have in Greece everywhere:
Like, they’re not like newspaper kiosks, even though some of them also sell newspapers. They have snacks, juices, cold drinks, cigarettes, ice creams etc. And they’re fucking everywhere, especially in central places. And I haven’t seen these in any of the countries I’ve visited. I don’t know if it’s only a Greek thing, or maybe even a Balkan thing…
But yeah in my dream they had those in Ireland and I was like oh you have kiosks too that’s the first time I see those outside of Greece! And now I’m curious to know if there are any in Ireland, lol. I doubt it but I’m also curious if those kiosks are in other countries at all.
Something I really gotta get used to with my Vi gifsets is that people will reblog them and might only add a tag that says “lol”, and that that will stand for league of legends, not laughing out loud.
So I made 18 gifsets of Vi last week, I haven’t even reached the first third of the first episode, but since I stopped there and might actually not continue on any specific schedule, I’ll queue the ones I made to be posted for the rest of the week.

Y'all, it has happened.
I find one of my students’ dad attractive.
I have seen him many times since I started working here, but today I had to ask him something about the schedule and it was practically the first time we actually talked besides the “Have a good evening!” we exchange when he comes to pick up his kid.
And like, I noticed… He has pretty eyes, pretty hair, a pretty voice…
Luckily for me I only see him twice a week, if even that, cause half the time that kid’s mother comes instead, so I don’t have to worry myself. I don’t even know that dad’s name, lol. But it’s actually been a long time since I felt that, where I would meet someone regularly and be like “Oh he looks good”. And that guy looks kinda sweet, too. I don’t know, lol.
Obviously I’m not going to attempt anything, which is why I said I’m lucky I don’t see him often, but I also feel I have to be honest with myself about that. Like I just talked to the guy and I’m still thinking about that interaction, better accept it now before I unintentionally make it awkward
