I’ve decided I want to crochet the new little mermaid

What do you think? Should I keep her hair red and her tail green? Should I remix her? Tiny and cute or not? With removable tail and legs under?

1840(2017)

I don’t really remember the last time I started a legitimate photo project? Maybe view camera during my fall semester of 2015, so it’s been awhile. I haven’t felt very inspired to pick up a camera to start a long, thought out photo series. Instead , I’ve shot here and there and have mostly played with other mediums.

But recently, my boyfriend and I have been talking a lot about how our homes feel temporary and how that in turn has made our lives feel temporary. We’re moving basically three times in the next five months (from our house to another house in the same city, then to our car for a week/two weeks, then to my aunt’s house across the country…and even that isn’t a permanent place).

I’ve decided to document our temporary homes and our lives in them. This is the first (work in progress) image of our home for the next month. It’s only a start, but this is to remind me of the motivation I’m feeling and to hold me to this project
