“Here Come the Women”, my retelling of Nick Joaquin’s “Summer Solstice”, is up. The site page includes insights on the piece and my workshop + a short essay on my writing journey.

Credit goes to my CL150 professor who made us critique texts in creative form, so the short story essentially follows the abundant criticism of Joaquin’s understandably outdated, binary-oriented feminism, but this time with a queer proposition.
