Another pixel dailies entry! I’ve always been fascinated by glass paperweights.

I’m still struggling a little with how light, color, and reflection work in pixel art. It’s not something I’ve ever had a strong grip on in my other artworks either, tbh, but pixel art seems to amplify all those elements. Perhaps learning pixel art will help me improve in those areas!

I’m also still struggling to figure out the best size/way to post these things to tumblr…bigger image below, but I don’t think it looks as good…

I’m learning pixel art and follow Pixel Dailies on twitter and decided that trying today’s prompt would be a good way to practice pixel art. So here’s a simple little cocktail with a #garnish for Pixel Dailies. This is only the second pixel art thing I’ve really finished and I think it turned out pretty well, all things considered.
