#not red baron pizza
Images of my take on Manfred von Richthofen, a.k.a. The Red Baron, as a Rider Servant for the Fate universe. These were concept sketches of the Baron in his Servant uniform made by @belliesandburps.
I decided, at least in terms of basic outfit, the Baron shouldn’t look TOO different from reality. The colors I have in mind are slightly fantastical, but the basic look is pretty much how the Baron would have dressed. Honestly, the WW1 getup was so iconic on its own terms, I saw no reason to change things greatly.
BNB did a PHENOMENAL job with these concept sketches, and they were a big help for @the-elusive-libbin and I in figuring out the plans for his Casual/Civilian getup.
My thanks to both artists. Now, the only question is when I’ll actually write for the guy. And when my next Fate OC will be done. ;)Reblogging because I feel this got a bit lost in the jumble, and I want to make sure BNB gets their fair due for their art. They really came up with Richthofen’s look, after all, and these sketches are just glorious. <3
My good pal @twistedtummies2 is back at it again with a new great OC for the Fates series, and methinks y’all are gonna get a good kick outta this fly boi. As always, happy to help whip up the design, and hope to see more of this lad once his time comes to shine. ;)
