Make it okay to not know things
There’s a the problem of, despite it being a “big deal”, it isn’t always necessarily damaging. Sometimes it can be chalked up to someone being ignorant and not everyone will listen. Arrogance and ignorance does not make someone racist, nor homophobic, nor necessarily insensitive. It isn’t always across the board. It makes them arrogant and ignorant, and it should be left at that. Sol was and likely still is ignorant. We are all ignorant of something, no matter how hard we try not to be. It is just that simple.
