If anyone’s wondering what kind of human I am, I literally just gave someone a peptalk about giving a speech while emptying a can of corn into a tupperware in my dormhall’s bathroom.
if you see something that makes you go “wait what the fuck is THAT that can’t be REAL” (specifically shit related to gender/sexuality), consider:
1) this feeling you’re feeling is the resistance to deconstruct your preconceived ideas about gender and sex. You thought you knew how the world works, and now you don’t, and you’re scared. fine, but don’t oppress people about it, educate yourself and adjust your scope (you will be doing this, btw, for your whole life, unless you wanna be a sad, angry person)
2) it’s more likely that there’s something that you don’t know than that something doesn’t exist. it’s fine if you didn’t understand and if it takes you a while to understand. educate yourself.
3) before you leave comments about how that person/identity/what have you is stupid and bullshit, do everything in your power to wrap your upset head around the concept that’s tripping you up. if you do, and you still think it’s bullshit, still don’t leave comments about how that person/identity/what have you is bullshit, because everything is in fact bullshit when you get down to it
4) we all die someday for fuck’s sake just have a glass of water and get a hobby
Hello all! Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I will be putting this blog on hiatus indefinitely. I’m not sure when or if I’ll be back. I’m very sad to go, but hopefully my blog can still be of use to all of you even while I’m gone. Thank you for following this blog and for being so supportive!
