Romy Schneider plays a hat shop employee who becomes a banker (a lady one), partially through the help of her girlfriend Camille.  Is it a coincidence that her downfall begins once she focuses her romantic attention on a dude instead of Camille and the other women she’s interested in throughout the movie?  I don’t think so.  She also wears a white tuxedo at one point that is just A+++.
