The short answer to this question is, click away and send them. However, life is not so simple. In this post we explore some of the issues and the workarounds:

1. Your privacy. Most of us do not want our pictures plastered all over the web, so how do we get around this? There is no foolproof way of guaranteeing this but it will be important to see the track record of the guy as a marker of whether or not he will be interested in maintaining your privacy. If he has no history of sharing others nudes that you know of, he is much more likely to protect your privacy. I for example, have never shared nudes of those who have sent theirs to me directly and they have never questioned me on this implying their implicit trust in me. I am just not interested in sharing my personal pleasure with the rest of the world and view the girl’s privacy as sacred and precious.

2. To include your face or not. For me, a nude just doesn’t do it for me unless it includes the face. If you worry about objectification, not including the face makes your nude exponentially like an object. I have seen plenty of nudes and I immediately look past a nude which does not show a face no matter how nice the body may be. So, always include your face in your pictures.

3. What sort of pictures should I take and send? Try not to send the typical camera shot in front of a mirror fully nude to begin with. Always take a few shots fully clothed, gradually exposing more and more of your body. Make sure you take plenty of shots of your areola being exposed and your nipples poking through your clothing. Make sure your face is seen in all your pictures and videos. Try to take a variety of shots and videos in sets with different dresses and locations.

4. What should I do if I don’t like my body? There are several issues here. We know that we can all be very hard on ourselves and subjectivity is a big problem here. Let the guy be the judge of your figure. He will most likely love you for the risks you have taken. I know that I absolutely will adore you for it.

5. How should I take the pictures? Use a smart phone. It just makes things so much easier to share. Just make sure the quality of the pictures are good. I think it will be much easier if you get someone else to take the shots for you like your sister or friend but this again is a matter for your privacy and comfort levels.

6. How often should I be taking pictures of myself? Take is as often as you can and as is safe and practical. Send some pictures several times a day if you can find the time without the guy ever having to ask you for it. This is a great tool for sexual expression and guys will love you for it. 

7. How soon after meeting a guy in person or online should I send nudes? This depends on your comfort levels. I personally would adore the girl who does not hold back from the very beginning and without me urging her to do so.

8. Should I take pictures solo or with others? This again is dependent on your preference for privacy with your friends. Taking nudes can be a fun way to bond with your girl friends, sisters, cousins and other female relatives, and it will certainly excite the guys you send these pictures to much much more.

9. How should I pose for my nudes? This is vital really and contrary to what you might think, less is more. Time and time again, I see nudes where the girls are trying oh so hard to give a particular pose or look “cool” and “sexy”, sticking their tongues out, making a duck face and so on. If you really want guys to dig your nudes, just take pictures smiling normally as you would for a normal photo with family and friends. The natural look and smile will be immeasurably better in your nude shots. So don’t try and come across as pretentious. Show your true self and be vulnerable and gorgeous.
