Mermay 2022 Day 19 prompt: octopus
(it’s been busy the last few days so I haven’t had a chance to draw. This drawing was 2 days late)
Being a fan of James Bond, I decided to make the character “Octopussy” (played by actress Maud Adams) as an octopus-themed mermaid for this challenge. In her hand he holds the Fabergé egg that she was after, and I chose to color her a light blue, because she wore an outfit of this color in the movie.

Octopus pendants! Entirely hand sculpted out of high-quality polymer clay using no molds or paint, down to the hundreds of individually-made tentacle suckers. Glazed with a satin finish to protect them from the elements. Each of these pieces takes approximately 8-10 hours to complete.
