I just wanna say, if you aren’t American, definitely try setting a modern AU in your country. Fill it with the things you know, to breathe life into it. It’s really nice to see new settings, to open up a fic and go ‘oh wait, hold up, I know that place’. It might only apply to a few people who read your fic but it’s really rewarding to get that feedback.

Ok, I needed to practice non-human character’s for a bit. Do to some of my series and do to the new sonic movie I just watched a bit ago. also, due to me having 15 comics, I’ve been trying to figure out some rough designs for the main characters, and yeah that’s been fun. So I decided to just draw random sonic oc’s. at first, I was trying out a style like @solar-socks but it slowly ended up in my style with @drawloverlala inspired me on how to style some of these guys.
I need to preference I don’t know much about these characters I found them and drew what I found. Character blight the cat @adhd-sonic-the-hedgehog . I loved the light animation gift thing that you did to show off their power like fireworks and it was fun to draw them. character Ember the Dragon @shadowchildbex . Found the metal virus art you did I need to get back in the comics again the ark made me back away for a bit but i liked the design of the metal zombie’s. So I tried the look on your Ember idk the story of how they ended up like that. But I hope someone gets the crowbar out of their leg before they turn back.character Breeze the hedgehog @elirastudio . I found the comic on how they became a werehog fun so this peace came from that. they were my favorite to draw IDK why but they were. character Blushy the foxhog @p0p-r0xx . I found this one and thought this one would be fun and yes it was. Their just a huge pop of color. I changed them up a bit more than the others hope that was ok. character Alice the Ringtail Possum @missbiancaart . My mind thought they looked like a kid I looked for a bit and couldn’t find anything to tell me otherwise so yeah. A cute child is running up to say hi to someone. character Neo Metal Amy??? @maggy-on-the-run . The last one couldn’t find their name just maybe Neo Amy. I didn’t read that and went with the drawing and went off. Their doing a heart with their fingers. they were nice to draw. IDK how I picked all girl looking one’s but I had fun and might do this again.
I’m losing my fucking mind there’s a whole god damn online database full of illustrations for illuminated manuscripts, you don’t need a subscription or anything. And it has a search function so you can enter key words for whatever you want to see. Right now I’m looking for fucked up illustrations of the apocalypse in Revelations, like so;
If you click the images on the website they come out super high def too. They also have a couple bestiaries, as well as some illustrations of the Divine Comedy. This is my new best friend I’m so fucking excited
