Okay I know we all like to write our Commanders in relationships cuz it’s fun, sweet and our right gdi
But, consider from a story perspective… what if all of dragons watch slowly leave. Slowly enter relationships, and leave - like Rox did - the Commander cant be angry with them; they want them to be happy, they fought so this world can be happy, so their friends can be happy!
But years down the line, Dragons Watch is just… the Commander. They go by Champion now - considered both Tyrias most eligible single, and someone too untouchable to be real. To be loved. Their friends visit them and Aurene when they can, but they have lives outside of fighting now. Romances, spouses, children. And the Commander has to face this world bitterly bitterly alone.
