“Are you sure it’s okay for us to be doing this?” Olivia questioned nervously as Hackett took the lead.
“I’m the best man and you’re the maid of honor,” he easily reasoned, “it would be more suspicious if I didn’t ask you to dance at least once.”
“Well, much as I love it when you do, could you at least stop looking at me like you’re about to tear my clothes off?”
Hackett slowly shook his head. “Can’t help it.”
Olivia rolled her eyes, unimpressed with his risky shenanigans.
“You look beautiful in that dress,” he continued to tease, “can’t wait to see it on my floor later.”
“Steven,” she hissed through her teeth in playful chastisement, cautiously surveying their surroundings to ensure there were no unwitting eavesdroppers.
Summary: After being found on the street and saved by Alfred Pennyworth, 7-year-old Maverick never expected him to take him back home and was accepted with open arms by the very people who lived there, the Waynes. Maverick was adopted by Alfred, taking on the Pennyworth name and duties. But Maverick took it a step further than that.
Maverick had become close to Wayne’s son Bruce, the two boys enjoyed each other’s company and played together, but everything changed when Bruce’s parents were murdered. Bruce had changed.
Maverick stayed loyal throughout the whole time by his side, but when he took on the mantel of being Batman, fighting crime alone. Maverick couldn’t stand idly by.
He took on a mantel of his own without Bruce knowing.
Maverick became The Duke, protector of Gotham’s very own Dark Knight.
Okay so the absolute uncanniness of this video instilled such a terror in me no piece of horror media has ever done before to the point where by the end of it I genuinely thought I might throw up, and the lack of context really made it extra terrifying because in my shock I really couldn’t tell if the footage was real or not (the candid amateur-esque shooting is impeccable)
So I went ahead and dug up some information and this is actually a complication of clips from of a short (like 6 minute) film called The Centrifuge Brain Project that’s actually quite a humourous piece of surreal horror(??? I’m not sure what to call it really) in the form of a mockumentary. I highly recommend it.
As a personal side note I never considered “scientist-engineer with a questionable level of sanity designing horrifyingly dangerous pushing-the-boundaries-of-physics amusement park rides” was gonna end up on my list of Dateable Types but here we are

Okay, so apparently Eternatus’ poison has similar effects to Nihilego’s, and those in direct contact with it are showing signs of aggression and lowered inhibitions. Raihan and the twins are being observed for their symptoms, and it’s currently being theorized that Sou got hit with it harder due to longer exposure (ie, trying to clean the poison off the Rusted Weapons).
Klara wanted to meet Moon, but Oleana has doubts whether they can get in contact with her. Assuming Lusamine’s still undergoing treatment herself…
