What if the first NHL player to recognize Bitty not as jacks (boy) friend but as his own self is Jeff Skinner. Imagine the falcs are playing the canes and bitty is at the game (maybe waiting in the hall outside the locker room for Jack) and he runs into Jeff Skinner. And Jeff is like YOU’RE THAT KID FROM THE 2010 JUNIOR FIGURE SKATING. And compliments something that had been done in Eric’s performance. And they end up talking figure skating and hockey and becoming good friends.

For those of you who don’t know, Jeff Skinner is a current hockey player for the Carolina Hurricanes, and he was a bronze medalist in the 2004 Canadian Junior National Figure Skating Competition.
So, I took this idea and wrote a fic! Hope you don’t mind!! Was published a while ago and forgot to add it to my blog. Hope I did your headcanon justice!
