#one scene lesbians

InAss Backwards, Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphael take a road trip.  And what’s a road trip without a pit stop at a lesbian separatist commune?  Not a good one is the answer.  Which is why they make a pit stop at one.  Unfortunately this isn’t a movie about them becoming lesbian separatists, but it does make for a very gay set piece.

Kate Winslet plays a young woman who goes to India and falls in with a religious guru and has a whole bunch of new (mostly cult-y)  life experiences before Harvey Keitel is hired to deprogram her.  One of those life experiences is dancing with (and then making out with) a woman at a club.  The good news is her bicuriousity isn’t one of the things Harvey Keitel deprograms.  The bad news is it doesn’t really come up again.

In the restoration of Metropolis, there is a moment full of various superimpositions showing the debauchery at the Yoshiwara nightclub.  What is one easy way to show debauchery?  Well, if you check the left side of that still photo up there, I believe you’ll notice a pair of classic 1920s style lesbians dancing together.
