crawley tells zira he’s picked out a new name for himself. aziraphale tries to guess what it is. one of his suggestions are names for the princes of hell the other one is Mephistopheles from faust. now, leaving aside the fact aziraphale picks the name of one of the princes of hell for his friends new name, only one of which we see in the story (beelzebub) do you know exactly what name is???

i do really wana talk about how aziraphales first thought was “ plasterer of lies “ or “sex god.”
also does this mean Crowley was someone important in heaven if he could be a prince of hell? i do kinda subscribe to the crowley as raphael fan theory and i guess this could feed into that bUT ALSO i guess he could have been Raguel the archangel of love. who knows. but its still fun to speculate
