#operation rainfall

Well, this is the first Wii game I’ve purchased in about a year, but damned if it doesn’t seem pretty fun so far. One thing I have to say, though, is that after playing almost exclusively PS3 and Xbox 360 games here lately, man the Wii just doesn’t even compare graphically. That aside, Xenoblade Chronicles is still a really good looking game. Sure the character models are grainy by comparison, but the landscapes are honestly pretty impressive.

Now we just need The Last Story to come out, so I can buy at least one more Wii game this console generation. I guess Operation Rainfall was a success after all.

First Xenoblade, and now The Last Story! I finally have a couple really good reasons to dust off the old Wii for the first time in what seems like ages. I’ve been curious about this one since the first Japanese screenshots surfaced quite some time back. Its cool looking character designs really drew me in. Now it looks like I’ll finally be able to give it a go, thanks to those awesome guys at Xseed. I think Xseed will be a great choice for this game as well, looking at their recent track record of awesomely localized RPGs.

The Last Story will be hitting the Wii in North America sometime this summer, courtesy of Xseed.
