Painting, 4hrs from life

Portrait painting at the Vic artists society this week.
I only had 80 mins to fet the whole thing done, so I threw caution to the wind and painted like a maan. Surprisingly, it turned out alright.

Pleased to say my painting ‘Still life with Australian natives’ was awarded highly commended at the Victorian Artists Society 2018 Autumn exhibition.
It’s a first for me, and a very pleasant surprise.
