4/12/22 - finally some sketch mojo
i decided to try again and this time BOOM i was able to rough out a portrait of my ffxiv character callistius. she’s a hellsguard roegadyn and currently leveling Dancer.
She’s married to a cat girl and they have two lovely healthy baby chocobos, which as we all know, is the subaru of the gaming universe.
4/3/22 - ch52 p15 coloring and shading continues
this page is brutal. I had to completely reorder the background layers because I forgot why I had them the way I did and they were taunting me.I really hope my mojo for drawing comes back soon. I have SO MUCH ffxiv inspiration to unload…

I FELT SO TOTALLY GREAT TODAY. I COULDN’T GET ENOUGH ART AND TRASHY DOCUMENTARIES.
what a nice evening! here’s three progress shots to show how much i did tonight. i didn’t snapshot the part where i was doing those flat colors, but that’s today also.

9/18/21 - i fell in a brain hole and didn’t update for weeks
i have no clue why! i took the progress shots, I guess I just forgot to put them online? i thought it was the first week of september until suddenly it was over halfway through the month. Looked up and saw my last post was the second (EDIT: fourth, gah), even though I’ve been working every damn day on this thing.so anyway, here’s the stuff I was supposed to be posting this whole time. I’m actually 95% done with this page now, and while I was finishing up some shading tonight I realized i had saved all iterations of page 11 in another folder, and thus page 11 is actually 12, and so the current page is actually 13. All because (and i cannot stress this enough) i have brain problems. but fuck it, you know? i’m having FUN! :)

today i walked around just for fun. after almost a year of pain pain pain, i was comfortable moving around. the fireflies were incredible. the dog was a bouncing glee ball.
