So yall really wanted a barely legal teen boy to be cast as Paxton to satisfy the age gap in casting? Keeping in mind the role was created as an athletic pretty boy who would bare skin a lot?
Don’t come say where “Mindy could’ve change the storyline to where Paxton is covered up and not exposed”. Mindy wanted a certain body type figure for the role to show Devi hot for the jock. It was already written out that way.
But yall preference for Paxton to be cast as a young man who is barely out of his teens around the age of 20 21 22 or 19 and 18 can be seen as inappropriate too. I could hear the arguments now on how wrong it is to force a young man that young to expose himself. And how the industry is forcing him to starve himself at an early age so he can look right for the role and play a pretty boy jock. Body image and etc.
