something about those blue lights

takes everything you are

and pulls it center stage

childlike curiosities

twinkling dreams of yore

infused with modern majesty

soaked in secondhand astonishment

there’s something about those blue lights that makes you more than human

and there’s something about you that keeps me wanting more.
