Ok this might be me going too far but:
It has been said that all the images of Tommy walking through small heath are meant to resemble him walking through hell (see example below, I can’t find the article)
And when I was rewatching S6E1 I couldn’t help but feel like the contrast of him walking through snow is a little too coincidental… almost meant to say that this ‘hell’ has frozen over…
(and idk about you but I really thought hell would freeze over before tommy stopped drinking so…)
