#phantasm dyad

Something a little sweet and sentimental for my yearly collab with my late friend Audiwolf (a.k.a. Misqueme) this year, who we lost back in 2012. This one was a sketch (request, I think) she did for me of my OCs Alice and her older brother Aaron from my previous indefinitely hiatus’d comic Phantasm Dyad, back when Alice was younger and less traumatised by her older brother’s death, and Aaron was younger and less dead. Is it weird to joke about death in the caption for a collab piece with your friend who died? Hmm.

I was avoiding spoilers about ever revealing Aaron’s face at the time she drew this for me, which I think is why she never uploaded this one publicly, so I’ve posted her original sketch privately here.

As always, Happy Birthday Audi. I typically avoid observing the date of her death, but in a few months it will have been an entire decade since then, which is insane considering I only knew her for 3 years personally and her absence is still so… felt.
