It’s a shame we didn’t get to see any of the de Clermont sisters in the show (we don’t even get to meet Stasia in the books).

I loved this scene, even though it gave me second-hand-stress!!
I’d argue that Baldwin did not misread the tone of the room, he knew exactly what he was doing, and saying, and it was all most likely tailored to get under Matthew’s skin, and stir up drama between Matthew and Diana.
His father is like the messiest of bitches when it comes to stirring up drama so, learned from the messiest!
