I thought it was odd but no one else seemed to notice. At Grand Central this girl had apparently clambered up onto the table to reach the electrical sockets that are on the same lines as the lights, and then plugged in her iPhone whose cord was just long enough so it dangled above her head. Like a little glowing technological halo. And then she’d reach up awkwardly and type on it. The dedication we have to these things is pretty impressive…
