NaKniCroMo - WIP Wednesday
Whoa, hey… another week over!
So, here’s what I managed during the last week:
Except for one day, I did a bit each day, and I finished all parts of the Fox Cushion: front, back, ears and tail. There may be a row too much on the back? Gotta find a way to adapt to that.
Now all that needs to be done is to weave in the ends and assemble it.
I’m still hellbent on getting into nålebinding, but I don’t want to start with it before the fox cushion is not finished
~~~~~~
Today, I also started with the “Raiders Roll” side of what might become my new headset case, because I was able to take the tram to work (and back home) and thus had some time for crafting-on-the-road. Not much yet, but the amount of bobbins is already confusing
The other side will feature the Zerg Logo, in violet/purple ^_^
So the plan for the rest of the month is:
- finish cushion
- learn Oslo stitch, maybe make something useful-ish with it
- optional: finish School of Conjuration pencil case (I want this to be finished until the end of April, though)
That’s the plan, though, I’m not going to take it too rigidly… rigid constraints take the fun out of things…
Day 24: Most complicated pattern
Sooo… technically not complicated, but rather a win over the intimidating dragon scale/crocodile stitch:
I credit this (free) pattern for helping me to finally grasp the stitch concept and make four pairs of gift mitts:
Don'cha just love a good crafting conquest? ❤
NaKniCroMo - Day 2 - Goals
Oh look at that. It’s an empty chair! This month, my plan is to fill it with as many amigurumi as possible! 31 amigurumi in 31 days has a nice ring to it but I also have a big order I’ve been a bit slow on so that’s my priority before sheer numbers. We’ll see how it goes though!
